Dak Prescott addresses 2012 tweet about Tony Romo
Dak Prescott on Friday addressed a 2012 tweet he sent about being sick of defending Tony Romo.
Prescott was a freshman backup quarterback at Mississippi State in 2012 when he got frustrated with Romo and said he was done defending the Dallas QB. You can see the tweets (since deleted) below:

Fast forward four years and Prescott was drafted in the fourth-round by the Cowboys, so naturally those old tweets resurfaced in some news stories. On Friday, Prescott talked about the tweets, saying he thought they were “funny” and noting that he was a “fan” when he shared them:

It remains to be seen how Romo will take those tweets. Given the sense of humor he tends to display on social media, we’re guessing is he’ll laugh it off as well and appreciate that Prescott was such a fan.
