Danica Patrick confirms she has split with boyfriend Carter Comstock
Danica Patrick is once again single.
Patrick had been dating Carter Comstock, an entrepreneur and the co-founder of Freshly food delivery service, for roughly a year. The former NASCAR driver told PEOPLE recently that she and Comstock have split.
“We were together for a while, and unfortunately it didn’t work, but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a really fun time and we didn’t do a lot of really amazing things,” Patrick said. “It doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with either of us. It’s just a matter of finding someone who you can stand the test of time with.”
Patrick and Comstock went public with their relationship in April of last year. Patrick, 39, said she holds no ill will toward Comstock and called him a “really amazing guy.”
The story of how Patrick and Comstock met was a pretty good one. The two got together a while after Patrick and Aaron Rodgers broke up. Prior to meeting Comstock, Patrick openly said her next boyfriend would have to live up to some pretty rigorous standards.
