Darnell Dockett sends racist tweet, won’t apologize
Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett loves stirring up trouble on Twitter. Whether its talking about inflicting physical harm on an opponent or trying to steal a college quarterback’s girlfriend, Dockett isn’t happy unless his tweets cause some sort of controversy. He was in rare form on Friday night.
Dockett kicked off a string of controversial tweets with a racist joke that many of his followers did not find amusing. After making the joke, Dockett promised he would not be one of those athletes who deletes the tweet and then apologizes.

I promise I won't….RT @GodFatha702: @ddockett @HubbuchNYP I predict that he "fake apologizes" tomorrow. "I am sorry if I offended anyone"

Once his racist tweet received so much attention, Dockett decided to keep it going like a 7-year-old who had just gotten a rise out of his classmates. He tweeted about everything from overweight women to stealing his neighbor’s WiFi.

I have learned that pleasing everyone is impossible, but pissing everyone off is easy and fun as hell.

In my opinion, Dockett is a clown. I get that he doesn’t care what people think about him, but some of his comments have the potential to create distractions for a team that is fighting for an NFC playoff spot. You would think a professional athlete would take that into consideration.
