Darren McFadden hopes to return in preseason
The Dallas Cowboys suddenly have to be concerned about the running back position entering training camp.
Darren McFadden is recovering from a broken elbow he sustained in June. He was likely to miss two months to recover after undergoing surgery, which placed his timetable for a return at potentially mid-to-late August during the preseason.
Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole reported Friday that McFadden will have his elbow scanned on Monday and could return for the preseason.

In addition to McFadden’s recovery from the broken elbow, first-round pick Ezekiel Elliott is now facing accusations of domestic violence from his girlfriend. The one back on the team who does not have issues right now is Alfred Morris, who was signed away from Washington in March.
