Davante Adams calls out Thomas Davis for blindside block
Thomas Davis’s regret was not enough to satisfy Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams.
Adams was the victim of a dirty hit from Davis in Sunday’s game between the Packers and Carolina Panthers, which knocked the Packers receiver out of the game with a concussion. Davis, who is regarded as one of the NFL’s good guys, looked regretful on the sideline afterward, but in a series of tweets sent Monday, Adams wasn’t remotely satisfied with his reaction.
I’ll never understand it. Game is already dangerous enough and we got Pro Bowl players out here head hunting and saying they “didn’t mean to harm me”

Somebody please explain to me what I wasnt trying to hurt him means when we nowhere near the play and u lead with ya head and ear hole a defenseless player….

Adams went on to add that NFL players are supposed to “be in this together” and “not mess with a man’s livelihood.”
“What if I did that to him and his kids can’t eat?” Adams asked.
Davis has spoken about player safety before, making his actions even more inexplicably. It certainly wouldn’t be unreasonable to give him a suspension.
