David Wilson did a double backflip after scoring touchdown
New York Giants running back David Wilson got his Frank Ricard on after scoring on a 5-yard touchdown run on the Giants’ opening possession of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Wilson later left with a neck injury. No word if the neck injury was the result of whiplash from the backflips. But his departure led the Giants to put the game in Eli Manning’s turnover-prone hands, and Eli came through with interceptions on three straight possessions in the fourth quarter to give the game to the Eagles.
Wilson’s backflip celebration should not come as a shocker. You remember last April when he hit 13 backflips in a row? yeah, that’s almost as good as when Jason Pierre-Paul did it.
