Deebo Samuel has been granted permission by the San Francisco 49ers to seek a trade, and one team seems like a perfect fit for him.
Samuel talked with Bleacher Report for an interview from Media Row at the Super Bowl. He was asked to name a team that he thought could be special. He mentioned the Denver Broncos.
“I could say Denver. Bo Nix is playing really, really good ball right now. Your defense is outrageous. You got [Pat Surtain II] who I would say the best at the position right now, probably been for the past two years. … I just think you need a couple more pieces and then it’ll be what it need to be and just have to get past Pat Mahomes every year,” Samuel said.

Samuel saying that the Broncos only need a few players sure sounded like him selling himself to the team. And he really would be a perfect fit.
Broncos coach Sean Payton did some media work at the Super Bowl too and shared with Kay Adams what he thought was a team need.
“I would say we need a joker. And a joker now can be a tight end or a running back,” Payton said.
Samuel did plenty of rushing for the 49ers in addition to his receiving and would seem to fit what Payton desires.
Former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has even mentioned Samuel as a perfect fit for the Broncos.
Samuel just finished his sixth season with the Niners. He had a down season by his standards — just 51 catches for 670 yards and 3 receiving TDs, plus 136 rushing yards. Maybe a change of scenery is all he needs.
Though Denver seems like a great fit for Samuel, there is another team favored to land the 29-year-old.
