Proof surfaces that DeMeco Ryans did not snub Aaron Rodgers
A video that went viral after “Thursday Night Football” appeared to show an icy interaction between Aaron Rodgers and Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans, but you probably will not be surprised to hear that the clip was misleading.
Following the New York Jets’ 21-13 win over the Texans at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., Amazon Prime cameras showed Rodgers exchanging pleasantries with opposing players and coaches. At one point, Ryans walked right by Rodgers without acknowledging the quarterback.

Without context, it looked like Ryans deliberately ignored Rodgers. Further investigation would tell you there was a good reason for that, however. The two had already shaken hands before Amazon’s cameras started rolling:
For all the conspiracy theories and missing context videos out there: Aaron Rodgers and DeMeco Ryans did acknowledge each other after last night's game. DeMeco didn't give him the cold shoulder. The broadcast just got to it late.

There was no reason to think Ryans had any sort of beef with Rodgers. While it’s far more exciting to speculate as to why Ryans was mad at the four-time NFL MVP, the video that was viewed millions of times was clearly deceiving.
