Denver billboard mocks Elvis Dumervil for firearm arrest (Picture)

The arrests have been piling up across the NFL as we await the arrival of training camp, and Elvis Dumervil was recently part of a packed few days of handcuffs being slapped on players across the nation. Dumervil was arrested Saturday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a firearm after he reportedly walked up to a car during a road rage incident and showed the driver that he had a gun on his hip. Sources close to Dumervil told the Denver Post that he was not carrying a gun and that the gun found in the vehicle he was driving did not belong to the Broncos defensive lineman — nor did the vehicle.

Whatever the case, Broncos fans have taken this opportunity to mock Dumervil through the use of a billboard. As you can see from the photo above that was taken by KDVR’s Dave Althouse, a billboard went up over I-25 earlier this week that reads “Stick with the guns that made you a star!” with arrows pointing to Dumervil’s arms. According to the Denver Post, the same billboard company that was responsible for the ones that tried to convince John Fox to start Tim Tebow is responsible for the Dumervil masterpiece. Keep doing you, Denver.
