The Philadelphia Eagles not only lost 24-20 to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday night, but they were also hit hard by injuries.
Wide receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, as well as tight end Dallas Goedert, all suffered injuries during the game. Jackson had a groin injury and Jeffery a calf issue. Neither player recorded a catch in the game.
After the contest, reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks said Jackson was limping upon leaving the locker room.

Jackson had 8 catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1, showing immediate chemistry with Carson Wentz. Philly’s passing game looked incredible against Washington and loaded with weapons, but they took several steps back against Atlanta. They wouldn’t have nearly as daunting of an offense moving forward if Jackson and/or Jeffery were to miss time.
