Dez Bryant looking like a beast in his workout videos ahead of NFL return
NFL teams in need of some help have the opportunity to make trades ahead of the deadline. But there is one other player out there who might be able to provide an upgrade to teams looking for an offensive boost: Dez Bryant.
Bryant went deep into last season before finally signing as with the New Orleans Saints and then tearing his Achilles tendon in his first practice. He waffled this offseason about whether or not he would return to football, but said in late August he was targeting a mid-October return. He seems to be sticking to his word.
Bryant has posted some videos to social media the past few days that show his progress as he works his way back. Sure, there aren’t any pads or defenders, but Bryant looks good in these videos. You can tell just based on his speed and agility.

In Twitter responses to fans, Bryant said his health was his only focus and that the next three weeks are critical. He also said his recovery is a work in progress.

Will fans see Bryant back on a football field this season? We will find out. The 30-year-old was still a factor in 2017, catching 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns with the Cowboys. If he’s motivated to return this season — which it seems like he is — perhaps he could help a team.
