Dez Bryant predicted Cowboys’ latest signing days before it happened
Dez Bryant hasn’t been with the Dallas Cowboys in nearly a half-decade, but he still appears to be pretty plugged-in.
The ex-star receiver tweeted this week that free agent James Washington was headed to the Cowboys, adding that “you heard it first right here.”
James Washington to the Dallas cowboys just know you heard it first right here….

On Friday, three days after Bryant’s tweet, Washington did indeed agree to sign with the Cowboys. Bryant then promptly took his victory lap on Twitter.

It is unclear if Bryant is actually close with Washington and thus may have gotten the inside scoop from Washington himself. But Bryant has been advocating for Washington on Twitter over the last several years.
If you are a team and want a top tier WR trade for James Washington….. thank me later

The 25-year-old Washington, who got few opportunities with the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, should be a meaningful pickup for a Cowboys receiving corps that just lost Amari Cooper. As for Bryant, he has come up short with some of his predictions before, but he was definitely on point with this one.
