Dez Bryant predicts Ezekiel Elliott will rush for 2,000 yards
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is feeling very bullish about his rookie teammate.
While Ezekiel Elliott has been targeting the rookie record of 1,808 rushing yards, Bryant thinks he can do even better.
“Yeah, I believe it. Two thousand or more. That’s my prediction,” Bryant said, via Charean Williams of the Star-Telegram.
Elliott was much more humble, preferring to credit his offensive line for his production.
“I’ve got to thank my O-line and those guys,” Elliott said. “They work their tails off, and they make it easy for me. I just have to go out there and compete and run the ball.”
Elliott has drawn a lot of praise, and rightly so. He’s put together four straight games with 130 yards rushing, and he seems to be an emerging star.
