DJ Swearinger is in an usual position: He made the Pro Bowl as an alternate this season, but he was recently cut by the Washington Redskins. That has led him to have an interesting plan if he plays in the Pro Bowl.
According to 106.7 The Fan’s Grant Paulsen, Swearinger said he may try to wear a South Carolina jersey and helmet if he gets to play in the Pro Bowl.
DJ Swearinger is a Pro Bowl alternate. He said if he gets to play in the pro bowl he may try to wear a South Carolina jersey and helmet. Would be odd if he gets to play in the pro bowl a few weeks after being cut.

Swearinger’s reasoning is simple: He played college ball at South Carolina and currently does not have an NFL team.
The former second-round pick was in his second season with Washington — his third team since being drafted in 2013. He had 52 tackles, a sack and four interceptions this season. He was cut by Washington for ignoring instructions to stop criticizing the coaches.
