Doug Pederson: Nick Foles ‘real sharp’ in practice
Doug Pederson seems to be pretty pleased with his starting quarterback entering the Super Bowl.
Speaking to a pool reporter on Thursday, the Philadelphia Eagles coach said Nick Foles looked “real sharp” in practice.
Doug Pederson liked the way #Eagles QB Nick Foles practiced Thursday: “Nick was really sharp again. Real sharp. He was accurate with his passes, smart in the run game,” he told a pool reporter.

That has to make Eagles fans feel good.
Foles is one of the biggest questions entering the Super Bowl. He looked great against the Giants in the regular season, but then was more shaky over the next two games. Then in the playoffs, he did just enough against Atlanta, while exploding for 352 yards and three touchdowns against the Vikings.
How Foles performs on Sunday will go a long ways in whether or not the Eagles win. At least he’s looking good for now.
