Drew Brees tweets photo of his son wearing Jimmy Graham jersey
Drew Brees has to be disappointed on some level that his favorite target has been traded to the Seattle Seahawks, and the New Orleans Saints quarterback found a not-so-subtle way of expressing that via social media.
On Wednesday, Brees tweeted a photo of his son wearing a Jimmy Graham jersey. No caption was needed.

While Brees has said in the past that he is confident in his team’s offense with or without Graham, he was still “shocked” by the move. Losing Graham has to sting.
Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said the blockbuster trade was made so the team can ultimately improve its defense. However, NFL Media’s Alex Flanagan indicated on Wednesday that the franchise tag issues Graham and the Saints had last season may have been a factor.
the franchise tag problems the saints encountered with Jimmy Graham last year appeared to have fractured the relationship with the saints.

If you remember, Graham fought to be labeled as a wide receiver for franchise tag purposes. He didn’t have any luck, but he later agreed to a long-term extension with the Saints. Things obviously were not ducky regardless, and now Brees and company must find a way to deal with it.
