Ed Reed on how to beat Patriots: ‘Pray’

Ed Reed had some very simple advice on how to handle Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

Reed did a Twitter Q&A for Showtime’s Inside the NFL on Tuesday, and he was asked how you beat Brady and the Patriots. He had a very simple one word answer: pray.

Reed was twice part of a Ravens team that won at Foxborough in the playoffs, so he’s qualified to speak on the matter. Evidently, he did a lot of praying before those games. Of course, Reed was also smart enough to avoid giving Brady and his team a treasure trove of bulletin board material to work with. Perhaps it’s time to start praying, Denver.
