Elizabeth Ruiz says Von Miller pressured her into making sex tape
The Instagram model who made a sex tape with Von Miller during a vacation in Mexico claims she never attempted to extort the Denver Broncos linebacker. In fact, Elizabeth Ruiz says Miller is the one who pressured her into recording the act.
In an interview with TMZ this week, Ruiz claimed she had begun having sex with Miller when he suggested “we should probably record this.”
“When I finally gave in I was like, ‘OK, fine we’ll record it,'” she explained. “So I pulled out my phone and we started recording. The whole time, everything was consensual. After the trip Von did call me and we talked briefly. He was like,’ Do you still have the tape?’ I was like, ‘Yes, I do.’ He was like ‘OK, cool, send it to me.’ I was like, ‘No I don’t want it to get out.'”
Miller’s lawyers claimed in a legal filing that an L.A. businessman contacted Miller informing him that Ruiz was shopping the tape around. While Ruiz admits her attorneys did ask Miller for $2.5 million at one point, she says that was a counter-offer. She also insists there was no “gotcha” moment.
“He never asked me to delete it. I never ever went up to Von to ask him for $2.5 million or $1,” Ruiz said. “My attorney told them what the situation was and they threw out the first offer, and my attorney counter-offered with the $2.5 million.”
When asked why she did not delete the video after the vacation in Cancun, Ruiz admitted she wanted to use it to pleasure herself.
Ruiz is very popular on social media and has nearly 400,000 Instagram followers. You can see more photos of her here.
Obviously, this is a classic case of he-said, she-said. Miller’s mistake was knowingly taking part in a sex tape to begin with, whether it was his idea or he simply consented. No good can ever come of that for a pro athlete.
