Perhaps the most shocking result in Week 1 of the NFL season was the Buffalo Bills beating the Chicago Bears 23-20 in overtime on Sunday.
Both Doc and Del liked the Bears so much they locked them in for their Top 3 picks. So did last year’s LBS pick ’em pool winner BMK. And guess what happened? The Bills pulled out the upset.
After the victory, Bills center Eric Wood sent this great tweet:

Survivor pools are ones where you have to pick one winner per week. You cannot pick the same team more than once in a season and you advance if and only if your team wins. Knowing that many people in survivor pools locked in the Bears, Wood’s tweet was highly appropriate. Well done and well said.
