George Kittle is finding creative ways to roast his quarterback, even remotely.
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk told reporters on Tuesday that Kittle trolls Jimmy Garoppolo during team Zoom meetings. Kittle does this, Juszczyk said, by putting up old photos of Garoppolo from middle school or from high school prom as his background, per 49ers reporter Keiana Martin.
Zoom, the video conferencing software that has exploded in popularity amid the current situation, allows users to choose a custom background for display during meetings. There are a number of stock options, but users can also upload their own images, which is exactly what Kittle has been doing.
The All-Pro tight end enjoys a close relationship with Garoppolo, and this story is hardly off-brand considering what Kittle has worn in public before.
