Greg Olsen sends great tweet about his free agency

Greg Olsen

Greg Olsen definitely wants to continue playing in the NFL, as a funny recent tweet indicates.

Olsen recently confirmed that he will be departing the Carolina Panthers, but despite rumors of a broadcasting career, he’s made it clear that he still wants to play. Maybe for the Seattle Seahawks, judging by the funny tweet he sent over the weekend.

Olsen did some broadcasting work for FOX Sports at the Super Bowl, and that career path will be there if he wants it. At least for the moment, however, he clearly wants to see what sorts of playing opportunities are there for him. The big issue may be injuries. Olsen has been productive when healthy, but has only played in 30 games over the previous three seasons. It’s a safe bet that someone will be willing to take a chance on him, but how good that opportunity is remains to be seen.
