Hunter Renfrow offered a great quote at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday about his measurables.
Renfrow famously walked on to Clemson’s football team in 2014 and took a redshirt year before going on to have a big impact on the program. He caught 15 touchdowns over his college career, including the game-winner in the national championship game. He did all that despite being undersized for a receiver.
That’s something he joked about at the combine on Friday.
Hunter Renfrow was asked if he feels like he’d be a higher draft pick if he was a bigger receiver:
“Yeah but that’s just part of my charm, I guess … I love the charts, I don’t know if you’ve seen them but I’m like the 0th percentile in everything.”

Some folks have tied him to the Patriots, figuring he’s a natural fit for them. He had a good line about that too, saying the reason for the connection is that the Patriots win.

Renfrow is used to winning — Clemson went 55-4 in his four seasons. That’s a better record than even the Patriots can produce.
