The Indianapolis Colts have apparently seen enough of Scott Tolzien after last weekend’s blowout loss against the Los Angeles Rams.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that Jacoby Brissett is expected to start at quarterback for the Colts when they host the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday.

Tolzien completed just 9-of-18 passes for no touchdowns and two interceptions in a 46-9 loss to the Rams. Brissett ended up coming in late in the game, and the Colts are sticking with the 23-year-old for the time being.
The Colts acquired Brissett during the preseason in a trade with the Patriots. They sent wide receiver Phillip Dorsett, a former first-round pick, to New England in the deal.
With the latest reports we have heard about Andrew Luck’s health, the Colts could be in for several more rough weeks. Brissett can’t be any worse than Tolzien was, but that doesn’t mean he’s good enough to win games at the NFL level just yet.
