Jadeveon Clowney goes nuts after earning $750K sack
Baltimore Ravens defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was a big winner Saturday in his team’s 17-10 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Ravens, who had already clinched a first-round bye, did not have much to play for in their final regular season contest at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md. But Clowney was still half a sack shy of hitting a $750,000 contract incentive that pays out if he reaches 9 sacks.
Pittsburgh had 1st-and-10 at Baltimore’s 34 with just 43 seconds left in the first half. The two teams were tied at 7. Clowney burst right past Steelers O-lineman Broderick Jones and sacked quarterback Mason Rudolph before he could get rid of the ball.
.@clownejd needed a sack to reach his incentive for the season.
He got it and went CRAZY. 😅👏

Clowney couldn’t contain his excitement after the huge windfall he received in what was an otherwise inconsequential game for the Ravens.
Clowney’s sack also helped the Ravens knock the Steelers out of field goal range to end the half. Rudolph was sacked again with 9 seconds left to keep the score tied at the end of the first half.
