Any lingering tension between Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown certainly seemed to be put off to the side after Thursday’s joint practice between the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.
Hurts and Brown were clearly cordial when they finally crossed paths and caught up following Thursday’s workout. The two could be seen smiling and even shared a hug.

Much has been made of the relationship between Brown and Hurts before Brown was traded by the Eagles to the Patriots, and how it seemed to sour toward the end of last season. Brown only reinforced that perception with his response to whether he had even spoken to Hurts since the trade.
Hurts has largely downplayed any tension between the two, although there is little dispute that the two are not as close as they once were.
The Eagles and Patriots are practicing ahead of their preseason meeting on Saturday. It remains to be seen if either Hurts or Brown even plays in that game.
