James Conner comes up with face full of turf in his helmet facemask after run
James Conner totally ate turf after a carry in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game and looked ridiculous as a result.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back rushed to the right on a first down carry with under 10 minutes to go as his team led 24-14. Conner gained about a yard and came up with a gigantic chunk of turf stuck in his facemask.

Eating that turf wasn’t even worth it, either. The Steelers took a 10-yard penalty for holding on the play.
Conner had 133 yards, a touchdown, and a grass beard to that point in the game.
