Hurns suffered an ugly lower leg injury after being tackled following a 14-yard catch in the first quarter. He was laying on the field at AT&T Stadium in pain, so the Dallas head coach came out to comfort him. Garrett held Hurns’ hand for what became a nice moment between player and coach:

The 27-year-old receiver was in his first season with the Cowboys after being drafted by Jacksonville. He had 20 catches for 295 yards and 2 touchdowns in the regular season.
