Jason Pierre-Paul football glove spawns great meme

Jason Pierre-Paul is practicing in full this week for the New York Giants and may be on track to play in the team’s game Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Much like most linemen, he’d like to have some gloves to use when playing. Unfortunately, that project is a bit of an undertaking given JPP’s digit problem.

ESPN’s Dan Graziano shared a photo on Twitter of a glove the defensive end is trying out:

Once you see the way JPP’s hand now looks following his fireworks accident (photo here), you’ll understand the odd-shaped glove.

Unsurprisingly, the bizarre looking hand cover is tickling the funny bone of smart aleck fans, who responded with some better ideas for gloves. Take a look:
