Jerry Jones blasts Brandon Weeden after releasing him
The Dallas Cowboys had to cut someone in order to activate Tony Romo, and Brandon Weeden took the fall.
Weeden started three games for the Cowboys, losing all three. Just to pile on, Jerry Jones blasted the quarterback as he was on his way out the door in a radio appearance Friday.
On @1053thefan, Jerry Jones says that Matt Cassel would have won the games that Brandon Weeden lost.

Jerry hints that if they'd had Cassel the whole time instead of playing Weeden they'd have felt better about winning games.

It’s a far cry from the things Jones was saying about Weeden when he was forced into starting him. It’s also a bit unfair. The Cowboys intentionally kept Weeden from taking any big risks as part of their gameplan. Plus, it’s not like Matt Cassel won any games under center for Dallas either.
