Jerry Jones on Brandon Weeden: You won’t see a more gifted passer
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not ready to hit the panic button now that Brandon Weeden will be his starting quarterback for roughly two months. While Weeden has not exactly had a tremendous amount of success at the NFL level, Jones believes he is better at throwing the football than the man he is replacing.
During an appearance on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas Tuesday morning, Jones said you won’t find a better passer in the league than Weeden.
Jerry Jones on @1053thefan: Brandon Weeden is "a thing of beauty throwing the football. Frankly, you won't see a more gifted passer."

Jones added that the Cowboys have no intention of bringing in a veteran quarterback to replace Weeden, whom they believe has “really progressed” since last season.
For those keeping score at home, the “gifted passer” that is Brandon Weeden has thrown more interceptions (28) than touchdowns (27) in his four-year NFL career. He appeared in five games for the Cowboys last year and threw two picks in just 41 pass attempts.
Weeden was basically a bust after the Browns selected him with the 22nd overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. There are probably worse backups in the NFL, but the all-time great quote Jerruh delivered after his team’s win over the Eagles is probably more indicative of how the Cowboys owner is really feeling at the moment.
