John Ross reportedly expected to play against Texans
The Cincinnati Bengals are in need of all the help they can get on offense after being shut out in Week 1, and it sounds like some is on the way.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Bengals rookie wide receiver John Ross is expected to play against the Houston Texans Thursday night.
#Bengals WR John Ross is expected to make his pro debut tonight vs #Texans, I'm told. A knee sprain kept him out of the opener.

Ross hurt his knee in Cincinnati’s final preseason game and was unable to play against the Baltimore Ravens last week. The Bengals lost 20-0, and quarterback Andy Dalton looked horrible.
Rapoport previously reported that Ross would miss at least the first two games of the season, so he must be ahead of schedule in his recovery.
The Bengals took Ross No. 9 overall out of Washington even though the wide receiver had multiple knee injuries in college and needed shoulder surgery this offseason. Like many others, the Bengals were obviously impressed with Ross’ record-setting speed at the combine. After seeing their team put up a goose egg in Week 1, Bengals fans have to be excited about Ross taking the field.
