Jordan Love takes significant step toward returning from his injury
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love at least kept the door open for a Week 3 return after taking a significant step on Wednesday.
Love was classified as a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice less than two weeks after suffering an MCL injury in Week 1. Love was hopeful of playing as soon as possible, but admitted the current strategy is to take things “day-by-day.”
#Packers QB Jordan Love was a limited participant at practice today and he told reporters, "I’m hopeful that I can get to that point where I can get in there, but we’re just going to take it day by day.”
Sounds like playing against the #Titans is, at least, realistic.

Love was expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering the injury, though it was telling that he never landed on injured reserve. Even so, it would be quite the surprise if he is able to suit up again after missing just one game.
The Packers started Malik Willis in Week 2 and beat the Indianapolis Colts with a run-heavy gameplan. That strategy could work against the struggling Tennessee Titans if Love misses another week, but it sounds like he is realistically getting close to playing again within a week or two.
