Josh Rosen’s former UCLA coach has been offering up a steady stream of critiques in recent days that seems to have the quarterback confused.
Jim Mora has been slightly critical of Rosen, going as far as to say he wouldn’t be his choice at No. 1. That ramped up further on Monday, when Mora offered up more comments that could easily be seen as critical of the quarterback.
On Monday, Rosen seemed to offer his own response to the talk that now surrounds him — much of it fueled by his former college coach.

You can’t blame Rosen for being a bit confused. Mora has offered effusive praise for Rosen, but his more negative takes have been the ones to make headlines. It’s hard to say whether it’s helping or hurting Rosen, but it’s definitely providing something of a distraction as the draft approaches.
