Josh Rosen makes Dolphins debut in blowout

Josh Rosen Dolphins

Does Josh Rosen have a future with the Miami Dolphins? We don’t really know, but on Sunday, he at least got the chance to play.

With the Dolphins down 52-10 to the Baltimore Ravens, Rosen made his debut late in the third quarter, getting a modest reception from the Dolphins fans who were sticking out the blowout loss.

It’s a low-pressure environment for Rosen, who was able to enter with the game essentially over. He completed his first pass for five yards, and was promptly intercepted on his second attempt.

The Dolphins have essentially said the 22-year-old is not ready to start yet. That said, starter Ryan Fitzpatrick went 14-for-29 with 185 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Those aren’t exactly inspiring numbers, though it’s doubtful he loses the job after just one game.
