Julian Edelman has dealt with a variety of injuries as the New England Patriots get closer to embarking on another Super Bowl journey, but the star receiver does not seem overly concerned about them. In fact, he would appreciate if the media would stop talking about it.
Edelman has been limited in practice again this week with knee and shoulder injuries, and he was asked about those ailments during an interview on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Morning Show” Friday. He said he is simply banged up like everyone else and doesn’t want to be asked about it anymore.

In addition to the knee and shoulder injuries, Edelman was also evaluated for a concussion after a nasty collision in Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills. Given that he is 33 and has suffered some serious injuries in the past, the questions are certainly reasonable.
Edelman caught five passes for 72 yards against the Bills, so he did not appear to be all that bothered. However, he is essentially the only consistent target Tom Brady has had to throw to this season, and his knee injury may be more significant than he has let on.
