Carolina Panthers defensive lineman Julius Peppers has 16 years of NFL experience, but he’s experiencing a first in 2017.
After the Panthers leaned heavily on their defense to grind out a 9-3 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Peppers had high praise for the unit — calling it the best group he’s ever been a part of.

Peppers has 17 playoff games to his name, so he’s played on plenty of winning teams. They have some serious injury issues to deal with on the other side of the ball, but if the defense can keep playing like this, they’ll definitely stay above water.
