Justin Herbert likely to play in Week 3 for Chargers?
Justin Herbert tweaked his ankle during his Los Angeles Chargers’ Week 2 win over the Carolina Panthers. But the Chargers quarterback looks like he will be making a strong push to play in Week 3.
After not practicing with his team on Wednesday, Herbert was at practice on Thursday. Herbert’s right ankle was heavily taped.

Herbert’s attempt to participate in practice on Thursday makes it appear like he will play on Sunday. The 26-year-old quarterback has passed for 274 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while leading the Chargers to a 2-0 record.
The Chargers will be on the road for the second consecutive week. They are scheduled to face the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
