Country music singer Kacey Musgraves won an award for Song of the Year at the County Music Awards on Wednesday night. We’re telling you this because Tim Tebow was one of the people who presented the award, and that led to a pretty awkward moment.
As Musgraves was making her way to the stage to accept the award, Tebow offered his hand to help her up the steps. The always well-mannered Tebow was snubbed — hard.
It’s difficult to imagine Musgraves didn’t see Tebow. I considered the possibility that she was simply trying to hold her dress in place, but it was a pretty long dress.
Musgraves was born and raised in Texas. Coincidence? Maybe not. She’s probably a Longhorns fan.
