NFL scouts who want to see Kyler Murray throw will likely have to wait at least until Oklahoma’s Pro Day next month.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Murray is not planning to throw passes at the NFL Scouting Combine this week. Although, the decision does not sound set in stone.
#Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray told scouts & personnel people of several NFL teams that he doesn't plan to throw at the Combine, sources say. They cautioned Murray is a competitor who could throw after seeing everyone else do it, but as of last night, Murray’s plan is not to do much.

Many top quarterback prospects have opted to not throw at the Combine over the years, likely because they feel the odds of harming their stock are greater than improving it. By waiting until their school’s Pro Day, they can wait to throw passes to players they are accustomed to playing with. Murray is likely planning to do that.
Most of the concerns surrounding Murray have to do with his size, but it sounds like he has a decent chance to be the top QB taken in the draft. A lot of the buzz has been positive, so he doesn’t want to risk doing anything to reverse that trend.
