Lamar Jackson still not satisfied with Madden speed rating after it was raised
Lamar Jackson continued to show off his blazing speed when he rushed for 95 yards in Monday night’s blowout win over the Los Angeles Rams, and the performance was enough to inspire “Madden” to raise his speed rating. The Baltimore Ravens star doesn’t believe it was increased enough, however.
Jackson’s overall speed rating in “Madden” was raised to a 96 this week, which is the highest speed rating a quarterback has ever had in the game’s history. The previous record holder, Michael Vick, passed the torch to Jackson and showed off a pair of custom cleats that EA Sports and Nike made for the NFL MVP favorite.

We’re sure Jackson is flattered, but he thinks he’s even faster than a 96. When asked about the rating boost on Wednesday, the quarterback had a great response.

Of course, speed doesn’t tell the entire story. If you saw the ridiculous spin move Jackson unleashed during a game earlier this month, you’re probably wondering how he is anything less than a 99 for agility, too. We’re guessing those ratings will keep going up across the board if Jackson continues to make all of his opponents look silly.
