Larry Fitzgerald signs extension to return to Cardinals in 2019
Larry Fitzgerald recently said that he would take some time before deciding whether or not he would continue playing in 2019, but the star wide receiver did not ponder the decision for very long.
On Wednesday, the Cardinals announced that Fitzgerald has signed a new one-year deal with the team and will return for his 16th NFL season.

With the Cardinals recently hiring Kliff Kingsbury, Fitzgerald and some of his teammates will be playing for their third head coach in as many seasons. While the 11-time Pro Bowler seemed to be in favor of the team keeping its last coach, he is obviously on board with the Kingsbury hire.
Fitzgerald was once again productive with the Cardinals last season despite them starting rookie Josh Rosen for the majority of the year. He caught 69 passes for 734 yards and six touchdowns, and he is now third all-time in the NFL with 1,303 catches.
