Le’Veon Bell held out for several weeks to express his dissatisfaction with his contract situation, and some fans ripped him while others understood where he was coming from. For one lucky fan, supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers running back has paid off in a big way.
Bell returned to the team on Friday, and a fan tweeted about how he stuck by the Pro Bowler during the entire holdout.

If you look at the fan’s timeline, you’ll see a number of tweets in which he defended Bell. Apparently Bell appreciated it, because he has offered to give the fan and some friends an all expenses-paid trip to a Steelers game this season.

Loyalty often goes unnoticed, but that was not true in this particular case.
Aside from a veiled shot at the Steelers, Bell didn’t say a whole lot during his holdout. Time will tell if he made his point, but he obviously appreciates the fans who defended him against others who called him selfish.
