Le’Veon Bell runs conditioning test with Jets twice to show how fit he is
Le’Veon Bell took an entire season off football last year and seems to be out to prove a point this year.
Bell opened up training camp with his new team — the New York Jets — by running their conditioning test twice. He did it first with the running backs and linebackers, and then again with the wide receivers and defensive backs.
Never ran w/ the linemen… BUT I ran with the RBs and LBs first, and the WRs and DBs after. Y’all get the point though… https://t.co/L9enWJ3oN5

Bell also said he was up for 500 touches if that’s what the Jets want.
What kind of shape is Le’Veon Bell in? He ran the conditioning test twice. Also said he’s up for 500 touches this season.

Bell took last year off rather than play for the Pittsburgh Steelers under the franchise tag for a second straight year. His reasoning was he wanted the security of more guaranteed money before taking the punishment of a full season. He ended up with $28 million guaranteed from the Jets. That kind of security makes him feel like he can go all-out for his new team without restrictions.
