Le’Veon Bell says ‘shoulder is fine’ following MRI
Le’Veon Bell gave New York Jets fans a scare when word emerged Thursday that he was undergoing an MRI on his shoulder. But the good news is the running back says everything is fine.
Bell tweeted the following message Thursday saying all was good. He indicated the MRI was more precautionary.
I got great news, my shoulder is fine so no worries…just had to make sure everything was ready to go for Monday night lets get it

Bell is in his first season with the Jets after signing with them in the offseason. He sat out all of last season rather than play under the franchise tag with Pittsburgh or play for less than the guaranteed amount of money he wanted long-term. The Jets gave him the security he was seeking, so he signed with them.
In the Week 1 loss to the Bills, he had 60 rushing yards, 32 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. He carried the load for the Jets, with Ty Montgomery only seeing two carries.
