Just as NFL training camp is a time for arriving in style, it’s also when rookies get their first taste of professional football. That includes hazing. It was Lorenzo Mauldin’s turn on Thursday.
As fellow rookie Durell Eskridge returned to the Jets locker room, he did so to find Mauldin’s locker completely covered with tape. “This what the vets do to us rookies lol @pressure55 ??????” Eskridge wrote on Instagram along with posting the above photo.
In the grand scheme of rookie pranks, Mauldin got off a big light with this one. His car wasn’t wrapped in aluminum foil and didn’t have its wheels removed, that we know of. And Mauldin isn’t sporting a crazy haircut. Alhough, it is early in camp so there is still plenty time for all of that, plus more, to happen.
