Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending injury during the New York Giants’ game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, but the star wide receiver did not let the situation stop him from having some fun away from the field.
Nabers tore his ACL in the Giants’ 21-18 Week 4 win over the Chargers at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. He was trying to leap to catch a deep pass from quarterback Jaxson Dart when his right knee planted awkwardly into the turf.
Giants fans were devastated by the injury, as Nabers is the team’s best offensive player. Nabers chose not to sulk, however. Instead, he attended rapper YoungBoy’s concert on Monday night at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Nabers was seen on crutches at the show and posed for a photo with YoungBoy.

Even if the optics are not all that great, there is nothing Nabers can do about his knee injury. He is awaiting surgery and will not be able to begin his rehab until he has the procedure. Fans might think the former No. 6 overall pick should be in mourning, but attending a concert probably is not going to hinder his recovery.
Of course, this is the second time Nabers has done something questionable after suffering an injury during a Giants game. He also drew criticism for his behavior while in the NFL’s concussion protocol last season.
Nabers finishes his second NFL season with 18 catches for 271 yards and 2 touchdowns. He had 109 catches for 1,204 yards and 7 touchdowns as a rookie in 2024.
