San Diego Chargers linebacker Manti Te’o appears to be in a relationship, and all indications are that his new girlfriend is a living, breathing person.
As our friends at Black Sports Online noticed, Instagram model Jovi Nicole has taken an interest in the Chargers over the last two months and recently posted a video that featured her and Te’o goofing off together:
If that isn’t proof enough, Jovi also shared a video of Te’o running off the field a couple months ago and captioned it with a little heart emoji.
If Te’o has been keeping the relationship a secret, who can blame him? We all remember the fake girlfriend hoax that Te’o has basically been getting harassed about since he was in college. Those who need a refresher can read more about that situation here.
Te’o appeared in 12 games for the Chargers this season and recorded 83 total tackles. We’re glad to see at least one young lady was able to brush the fake girlfriend stuff aside.
