Mark Herzlich’s story is well known among sports fans. Herzlich was an All-American linebacker as a freshman at Boston College and became the ACC’s Defensive Player of the Year in his junior season. He was forced to miss the entire 2009 season after being diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Herzlich returned for his senior season in 2010 and was third on the team in tackles. He went undrafted, but the Giants signed him as a free agent. Now he’s with his team in Indianapolis soaking up Super Bowl week, and he sent this awesome tweet Monday afternoon:
