Mark Ingram suffers non-contact calf injury

Baltimore Ravens

Mark Ingram has been having an outstanding season alongside Lamar Jackson, but the Baltimore Ravens running back suffered a concerning injury on Sunday.

Ingram fell to the turf and grabbed his right calf early in the third quarter of Baltimore’s game against the Cleveland Browns. He tried to stand up to jog off the field and immediately fell back to the ground clutching his leg.

The Ravens quickly announced that Ingram was questionable to return with a calf injury.

Ingram had eight carries for 55 yards to go along with two catches for 36 yards and a score before he exited. He also eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the year.

While Jackson has received much of the attention for his MVP-caliber season, Ingram has been been a huge part of Baltimore’s offense. Losing him for any significant period of time would be a huge blow to the Ravens.
