One of Marshawn Lynch’s least favorite parts of being a professional football player is having to deal with the media. The guy avoids interacting with reporters if he can help it, even if that means it will cost him money.
Last year the Seahawks running back was facing a $50,000 fine for not speaking with reporters, but he argued his way out of it. Lynch also faced a fine during Super Bowl week until he did an interview with NFL Network’s Deion Sanders, whom he considered safe.
This week the NFL said Lynch was facing a $100,000 fine if he didn’t speak with reporters after the Seahawks’ game against the Chiefs.
According to Pro Football Talk, Lynch slipped out of the locker room without speaking with reporters. However, Lynch placed phone calls to two NFL Network reporters he trusts — Mike Silver, and former teammate Michael Robinson.
Just did a phoner with @MoneyLynch and @MikeSilver per Lynch Seahawks have the "heart of a champion!"

It remains to be seen whether Lynch’s actions will satisfy the NFL’s demands. I wouldn’t exactly say that he found a loophole here.
